Additionally, users can head to the Apple Support Site, verify their iPhone’s serial number, and execute a remote diagnostic. Apple Care+ comes to the rescue, covering damages like cracked screens, glass cover malfunctions, accidental damage (requiring a $99 copay), and offers a complimentary battery replacement when capacity drops below 80% (Apple Support Website).

For optimal protection, there’s also the option of upgrading to AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss, adding up to two insurance claims per 12-month period for device replacement.
