Honor Pad X9a: A Successor to the Low-End Pad X8a is Coming

A New Tablet in the UAE and Beyond?

Honor is working on a successor to its budget-friendly Pad X8a, which made its debut back in August. The next-generation tablet, naturally, will be called the Honor Pad X9a. After being certified for sale in the UAE by TDRA, the X9a is expected to hit the international market soon.

The Certification Process: What We Know So Far

The TDRA certification process involved a Wi-Fi-only version of the Honor Pad X9a, sporting the model number ELN2-W29. Unfortunately, the certification didn’t reveal any details about the device’s specifications. Still, based on the X8a’s performance, we can expect the X9a to be a mid-range tablet, rather than a high-end one.
