Intel Arc B570: A Disappointing Follow-Up to the B580

The Intel Arc B570 is a scaled-down version of the B580 GPU, which impressed us with its performance in our initial review. However, things have taken a turn for the worse, thanks to two significant issues: a major overhead problem and limited availability.

The Overhead Problem

When paired with older or slower CPUs, the Arc B570’s performance takes a significant hit. Our testing revealed a noticeable drop in frame rates, making it difficult to justify its value. This is particularly concerning, as many budget gamers don’t have the luxury of upgrading to a more powerful CPU.

Limited Availability

The second issue plaguing the Arc B570 is its limited availability. Even weeks after its release, the B580 remains hard to find, and the B570 is no exception. This makes it challenging for customers to get their hands on the GPU, which further diminishes its appeal.

What About the Performance?
