As we wrap up our review of the Realme 14 Pro+, we’re excited to share our battery life results with you. With a significant boost in capacity and power, the 6,000mAh battery under the hood, we expected a noticeable improvement over its predecessor, the Realme 13 Pro+. But, are the results as rosy as you’d hope for?
A Step Back in Battery Life
The Realme 14 Pro+ is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, runs on Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0, and features an 80W charging system. Its predecessor, the Realme 13 Pro+, boasted the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chip and a 5,200mAh battery. With a bigger battery, we anticipated a noticeable jump in endurance, but that’s not the case.
Comparing Realme 14 Pro+ to Realme 13 Pro+
Our battery tests revealed some surprising results. The Realme 13 Pro+ achieved an impressive Active Use Score of 13:39h, while the Realme 14 Pro+ can only manage 9:53h. That’s an even worse performance than the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ global model, which features the same processor but a smaller battery (5,110mAh), with an Active Use Score of 10:40h. The most striking difference lies in the call runtime: 34:29h vs. 22:03h for the Realme 13 Pro+ and Realme 14 Pro+, respectively.
